Run Standing Peer Cadences

Peer alignment decays without structure. When contact with the finance, commercial, and technology counterparts happens only when something breaks, conflicts surface late and land in the CEO's room as surprises. A standing bilateral rhythm with each peer whose function operations depends on keeps shared decisions moving at operating speed: capital and cost with the finance lead, demand and supply with the commercial lead, platform dependencies with the technology lead.

Measurable Behaviors

Behaviors are optimized to be directly observable for evidence-based skill tracking.

Anchor each peer agenda on shared decisions and metrics

Builds each session's standing agenda from the interface map, so sessions decide rather than narrate status.

Extend the peer cadence model to deputy level

Mirrors the heaviest interfaces one level down, so cross-functional decisions close without the COO in the room.

Hold a standing cadence with each dependent-function peer

Maintains a recurring bilateral session with each peer executive, rescheduled rather than silently canceled.

Reset a peer cadence when it stops producing decisions

Redesigns frequency, participants, or agenda deliberately when consecutive sessions decide nothing, with the reason stated.

Track peer commitments to closure between sessions

Records each commitment with an owner and date, carries it to the next session, and checks it there.

Mastering the Peer Cadence

Each dependent-function peer has a standing cadence that produces decisions rather than status exchange. Commitments made in those sessions carry forward and get checked. When a cadence stops earning its slot the COO redesigns it, and the top interfaces run mirrored at deputy level without the COO in the room.
