How to Select the Lowest-Cost Intervention That Fits the Cause
Once a cause is diagnosed, choose the fix that produces the most change for the least cost. Match the intervention to the cause, price every option, rank by leverage, and run the environmental fix before the expensive individual one.

Choose a fix that addresses the specific cause you found, not a generic action. An unclear expectation gets a clarified expectation, not a workshop. Write the mapping from cause to fix down; a fix that does not map to the named cause leaves the real cause untouched.
